Dawn, thanks very much for your nice words...these were at Clements Mountain on the Road to the Sun Road at Glacier National Park...

What a beautiful image of this young bighorn sheep! I love the big mouthful of flowers he's reaching for with such relish after a long winter in the snow! We have bighorns just up the mountain from us but ours are shy and you have to know just where to go -- the most remote slopes best accessed on horseback. The bighorns I've seen in other places -- such as Sinks Canyon near Lander -- are much more used to humans. This is a delightful and gorgeous photograph!
